Don't lose your freezer

Our home was built with a GFI switch behind the freezer. If there is an electrical surge, we check it. Unknowingly this switch tripped when there were no other GFI circuits in the house. We found things soft in the freezer but still frozen. We bought this item to warn us in case such an event happens again. We tested it and could hear noises from above. Also, the red light is larger and more visible to draw our attention to the fact that this switch worked. This element now actively serves as a notification system.
