Good combination of style and function

I'm a big fan of bento lunch boxes. However, the beautiful lack practical qualities, and the practical tend to look odd. This one stands out to me as having some very useful/useful features while still maintaining a classic, rather classy look. The box disassembles into the following components: > Base tray - approximately 8 inches long, 5 inches wide and 2 inches wide. deep (about). It's probably too small if you're a builder, but it's a decent size for an office worker. It's plastic but fairly durable, dishwasher and microwave safe (although the instructions say it's only for reheating - 3 minutes max, not for cooking).> The divider is probably my favorite feature of the box. This is a plastic divider that can be placed anywhere in the box. The separator has a soft pad that fits snugly against the main bowl and prevents mixing of different products. Since it can also be placed anywhere on the base, I don't need the food to fit the box, I need the box to fit the food. it seals well. The manufacturer claims it is sealed. I tested it with water and it really is! It has two "plugs" that can be removed to release steam when you microwave the base with the lid on. For example, you can arrange your main dishes on a tray and use a transparent dessert insert. Not only does this increase capacity, but it also makes those cookies easier to access before lunchtime! An empty box can be stored in the main tray to reduce the size of the box. > The top cover is a flat tray that fits over the top of the main tray to give it a nice clean look. The box also comes with a set of plastic cutlery (cheap but functional) and rubber bands to hold everything together. The failures are mostly small. The top cover is so tightly attached to the main compartment that it can be difficult to remove. The clear liner does not snap when used over the box (hence an elastic band is provided). In addition, there are no complaints or significant shortcomings in use. Worth considering if you're looking for a very practical bento box, but also want something not embarrassing to carry with you. We recommend. [Example provided for reference]
