Review on Sangean PS-300 Pillow Speaker: Enhanced Audio Experience with In-line Volume Control and Amplifier (White) by Ryan Brady

I was pleasantly surprised to learn that I don't have to remember to turn off the amp when I get up. I just leave it on all the time as apparently the battery is only being used when the radio is playing. I only use the radio 30 to 45 minutes a night and the radio batteries I charge with this unit's battery every two or three weeks whether they need it or not. I can turn the volume up or down with the scroll wheel and leave the radio volume control alone. I consider this the best I've ever used out of the half dozen different speakers I've owned for over 30 years. The sound quality is normal for speech, not very good for listening to music.
