This is exactly what I was looking for. This allows me to track down possible water leaks in the basement, especially near the HVAC unit. Last time, the drain pipe was slightly clogged and some of the water didn't drain properly. Not much damage, but enough to damage some of the carpet in the area. Not much damage though. I was able to replace and clean everything for less than $500. Now I have two such sensors next to it. I have tested them and so far they are good. I hope they don't let me down! rzunimag.
