I've been using clear lenses in my bulletproof vests for mountain biking for many years. Oakley clear lenses last about a season before becoming too scratchy to tolerate. Oakley lenses are way more expensive than these Walleva lenses so I wanted to try them. The Pros + They're cheaper than OEM lenses + They come in a nice box with a padded lens carrying case + They come with a large microfiber cloth + They offer a vented cut that I haven't seen from Oakley. I enjoyed using this product as the vents make a huge difference when it comes to fogging up hard mountain biking in the woods. The lenses were not entirely identical. One lens was very similar to the factory mold and fitted into my bulletproof vests with no problems. The other lens appeared distorted and didn't want to fit into the frame as easily. With some effort I managed to snap them into the frame. The first ride was great. There were no fogging issues and the optical quality seemed very comparable to OEM. After the trip, I took a microfiber to wipe the sweat off the lenses. At this point, I was dismayed to see that the lens only scratched as the sweat wicked away. This happened with just one lens, which coincidentally turned out to be deformed and wouldn't mount easily. I wonder if it was just a production error. Unfortunately the scratch is right in the middle of my lens and it didn't last a few days. With such durability, I cannot even recommend buying it at an affordable price.
