These pliers work well as advertised. However, there are a few minor details that I usually just ignore. When I bought them, the first thing I went for was the "two pairs" (or something like that) option. Although the description didn't mention two pairs for the price and the price was good even for one, when only one pair showed up I didn't mind - book it as a typo which has been corrected. Also, delivery took longer than I expected even though it was within the stated dates - this is really my fault, but buyers should be aware that their delivery can take up to two weeks. The last small issue was that there was a tiny groove on the end of one of the lugs. Being new to wire wrapping I figured it might have been made specifically to improve grip. But now I just think it was a small manufacturing issue. It definitely wasn't an issue big enough to warrant a return. They are excellent for thin gauge wire but tend to deform when used on heavier gauges. I thought it was fine until my wife found an old pair of pliers of this type lying around and I used them - no distortion although they were thinner. This is definitely a sign that cheaper materials are being used in construction - anyone with Klein pliers and Harbor Freight pliers can tell the difference. On the plus side, they are comfortable and finely tuned at a good price. . I would happily recommend them to anyone who doesn't want to work with anything smaller or tougher than say 22 gauge semi-hard copper wire.
