Let me start by saying that I'm not a technical person, but I can comment on what I know. My only issue with this laptop is that it runs Windows XP which Microsoft no longer supports and many websites won't let you in because that OS is outdated. Apart from that, this laptop is compatible with Windows 7 and maybe even Windows 8, you just need to upgrade. Upgrading can be difficult and expensive, but it's worth it if you use the internet a lot. If you want a cheap entry level laptop then this is great, other than the OS I haven't had any issues and use it all the time. Me and my wife are happy with this laptop (for now).
