I need a stool/chair for my standing workstation and based on the 34" high product description I figured it would fit. Unfortunately, when I sat in the chair, the seat height was only 29 inches. I only weigh 150 pounds so the compression is no more than an inch. The lack of 3-4 inches of extra height makes this chair unusable for me, which is a shame because it feels like a good stool. I sat on it for about 2-3 hours in total and found it comfortable (although the footrest is in a bad position for taller people). The stool is very easy to assemble, maybe 5-10 minutes. The downside is that once assembled, it cannot be disassembled. The seller offered a refund but I had to pay return shipping which was almost the cost of the stool as it was the Boss B16245-BK Caressoft Medical/Drafting Stool with Back Cushion (http://www.amazon.com/gp/product /B004I3ZRQM/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o00_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1). ), which should be high enough for my regular workstation. I'll take a look at it once I've assembled it and try it out.
