She had long wished for a Tangle Teezer as a birthday present because she is a true hair obsessive. Now I see that if I were to buy it myself, it would be clearly a waste of money. We must acknowledge the Tangle Teezer's superior performance against wet hair, safety from harm, and speedy unraveling compared to regular combs. I didn't really see much of a change with dry hair, and using the Tangle Teezer to create a ponytail is rather cumbersome, so I now just use it on wet hair. I also don't notice a change in how much hair is still on the comb. Because water seeps in and slowly drains out, Tangle Teezer takes a very long time to dry when I wash my combs frequently. The conclusion is that you should buy it if you don't feel guilty about spending the money, but if you carefully consider each purchase and wait for the wow factor, I wouldn't recommend it; it's preferable to ask for it as a present.
