Review on Kuretake ZIG ART GRAPHIC TWIN by Kelsey Brown

Revainrating 5 out of 5

If you are looking for vintage Mars Graphic 3000 pens then this is definitely a fake!

One day I discovered that I had some wonderful pens, some of which still work, that were made about 15 years ago. Two were Zig Brush Twins, two were Mars Graphic 3000. I put them side by side and found they were identical! I decided I wanted new ones and couldn't find any either until I saw a review from a nice person here on Revain who said they were a scam. Out of hope and coincidence, I chose them and they arrived. You are definitely a fool, even the names are combined. The "Art" part was from the old Zigs, the "Graphic" part was from Mars. When tested side by side, they are absolutely identical. What you need to know: The fine point is a hard felt ball point. This is a nice consistent line very similar to the Flair pens. The tip of the brush is not a fiber. This is a semi-hard rubber tip that mimics a brush. It's strong enough to bend and be flexible a little, but firm enough to spring and return to its original shape. Texture is what I definitely missed! You don't look like Tombow at all. I have several Tombows and they will never really be used again because they are so much better. The ink is comparable to watercolor and moves in the same way, the intensity is unsurpassed. Depth and brightness are excellent. Try her. Sure, they're moderately priced, but they're made by Zig, the creators of the Pigma Micron that everyone knows and loves. They are still slightly cheaper than the others. After receiving the small package to see if it was fake, I immediately bought the large set. Twice. I won't buy any more markers now, it's my ride or my death! With 15 year old markers still alive in my Zig/Mars box, I can't think of a better investment.
