Review on Enhance Performance with Replacement Impeller for Cascade 1000 Canister Filters by Jaime Alonso

I have had a Cascade 1000 for a little over 2 years and recently it started to rattle very loudly. I tried cleaning the impeller and also tried lubricating it with petroleum jelly. None of this worked. Not sure what is actually worn out as the impeller appeared to be in good condition. I understand that the plastic rod deforms over time? Anyway, I bought this impeller as a replacement and the noise is gone. I hope it lasts another 2 years. We will see.
