I have a mid 2011 iMac. It came with 2 memory modules of 2GB each. In total I had 16 GB of storage space - 4 modules of 4 GB each. The very next day I received the modules from Revain. I watched the installation video on YouTube. super easy. I removed the bottom screen. The memory module compartment was clogged with dust, so I blew it out with a spray bottle. Then I pulled out the old ones exactly as they showed, making sure to tuck them away neatly so I knew how the new ones would go in. First I inserted the top two and pressed them in place, click! Then lower, click!. I plugged my iMac back in, plugged everything in, and turned it on. Voila! Very faster! Since then, I haven't had a beach ball slowly bouncing to its death, nor a message from CleanMyMac that I've used up all of my memory. Turned an 8 year old timer into a great new iMac. I also recommend watching a video on how to open an iMac and blow out the dust. The fact that my memory module bay was so clogged up was a hoot that I had to do some basic housework.
