OWC 8 Review

I ordered 2 x 8GB for my mid 2011 imac and they sent me 2 x 4GB. At first I thought it was just an accident and I was going to send it back, but then I looked at the back of the box and saw there was 2x 8GB on the sticker. I was very confused as the RAM sticks were clearly labeled as 2x 4GB, quickly realizing that they simply stuck a 2x 8GB sticker on top of the original 2x 4GB sticker and intentionally sent half the amount of RAM I did have paid. One of the sticks has failed after 8 months of normal use. I contacted OWC to make a warranty claim as they have a lifetime warranty. OWC cannot locate my order even after I provide an invoice from Revain and a picture of a flash drive with a serial number on the label. OWC keeps me running around asking for the serial number. I have a mid 2011 iMac. It came with 2 memory modules of 2GB each. In total I had 16 GB of storage space - 4 modules of 4 GB each. The very next day I received the modules from Revain.
