It worked great, I just connected the charger to this converter.
I took my US laptop to Sweden for a month. It worked great, I just connected my charger to this converter and I was able to charge it perfectly. Since the voltage isn't reduced to US standards, battery life is reduced somewhat (not by much, but maybe 30 minutes below the cap). Cheap replacement, so don't worry here. If you only use it to power your hair dryer or whatever, this is perfect for you!
