Initial setup was easy, but the gateway switched itself off after a few days. At this point I had abandoned the instructions and there is no support information on the Govee website. I deleted the device in the app (iOS) and added it back without error, but the thermometer didn't show up. I assumed the sensor needed to be paired with the gateway again, but couldn't remember how to do that - I finally figured it out: hold down the power button on the gateway until the LED flashes red and blue, and remove You then reinsert one of the batteries into the sensor, and the Gateway LED will change to a fast blinking blue and then back to solid blue. I hope the gateway and sensor stay connected, otherwise it will quickly become obsolete.
