I bought a newer version 3.0 with snap-on valve timing. The benefit was that I didn't have to install their patented valve in my water line. The concept is good. I tried 3 ball valves and when I snapped them in they were really good for the calibration step. This occurs when the valve controller sees a range of OPEN and CLOSED positions. 2 valves were adjusted by the valve control. The third time, the valve controller simply twisted out of position. Even if I were making money I wouldn't trust him to handle plumbing safely. It could damage pipes (if PVC) and possibly cause a leak.
