Review on Insulated Ice Bucket 4 Quart / 3.8 L - Stainless Steel, Black by Oggi by Dennis Reed

Visual is what someone sitting on the bar wants. Functionally ok for occasional use, everyday life rather problematic. Our reason to buy is that the ice dispenser in our fridge door broke, the part needed is no longer available (unfortunately the fridge is 5 years old - but that's another story). The fridge still makes great ice, but getting to the ice in the hidden door compartment isn't easy. Therefore, we predict the daily use of the ice bucket. This ice bucket is not suitable for everyday use. Firstly, it has double walls for condensate but is not insulated, the ice melts very quickly. Second, the hinged, non-removable cover is not suitable for cleaning/disinfecting/air drying. In addition, the "BPA-free" label adhesive on the transparent lid does not come off. What's left is a sticky mark that lives on, reminding you there was a sticker there once. If the label is to remain permanent, the label should not be paper, if it is intended for the consumer to remove the label, the adhesive must be removed when the label is peeled off. (Using a cleaning agent will most likely damage the clear plastic cover.)
