Insulated Ice Bucket 4 Quart / 3.8 L - Stainless Steel, Black by Oggi Review

This ice bucket was bigger than I expected but it was a really good size to meet our entertainment needs. Filled with ice at 2pm, still had ice at 8am so not bad at all. I didn't see any condensation on the bucket either. I like that the lid can be flipped up and doesn't take up any extra space on the countertop. What drew me to the bucket was the built in scoop. This is a nice handy feature.

This fell apart after first use. The stainless part snaps onto the outside of the bucket but is not glued. To fix this we're trying to secure the bottom of the bucket that separates from the main body with glue and snap off the stainless steel strap that's also gluing it. The ice stayed in the bucket for a long time and the shovel came in handy because of bad style. It looks good, but it's not a great product. I would have sent it back but we threw away the box.

Okay, it came with a cracked lid. Maybe two or three small airbags weren't enough protection. It was also split in two and it took multiple attempts to put them back together. When it finally clicked into place, it wasn't a sure click, so it popped open slightly. The match between the black plastic and the stainless steel case is also not very good. After receiving 2 pieces and not being able to keep them together I looked through the 1 and 2 star reviews and am confident enough that there are multiple reviews with the same complaint. I bought this for our Christmas party because we don't have an ice maker. Not only does it look great, it's non-slip and easy to fill/scoop. We had about 25 guests and everyone from children to seniors enjoyed it with ease. I have arthritis in my hands so I really liked the rubber band at the bottom - it helped me hold the bucket better when it was full.
