I just checked the brushes that came with the kit. I didn't buy the brush palette and the only reason I bought this one is because I couldn't find the small palette here separately. So these brushes are, if you will, ridiculous at best. I don't know what they are used for because they are completely useless. I'm not exaggerating when I say the bristles are glued together. I couldn't separate them and tried to pierce them with a needle but couldn't. My guess is that these brushes could be used for painting as they certainly cannot be used for painting. If you just want a palette, then fine, but also note that the brushes are attached to a piece of cardboard that's attached to the palette. with CLEM. The company seems to have a lot of glue that they use on everything. Glue the brushes, glue the palette. CM.
