Good little palette. I usually get three to four paintings per pallet before they are no longer washable. This makes this pallet an inexpensive alternative to disposable pallets. Also, the fact that it is a real pallet makes it more functional and easier to use than metal pallets. The brushes aren't bad, but I would recommend having a few higher quality brushes to complete the painting. All in all a good starter kit. I buy two or three a year. Happy painting!

Probably the only thing I liked was the price and the speed of delivery. The palette is simply carved out of wood with no treatment or anything and I'm afraid to paint it because I think it might soak in and I can never clean it, or that trying to clean it will do the wood rough. There was this weird dried glue on the brushes that turned into a nasty goo when I tried to peel it off and then a few bristles fell out. I just checked the brushes that came with the kit. I didn't buy the brush palette and the only reason I bought this one is because I couldn't find the small palette here separately. So these brushes are, if you will, ridiculous at best. I don't know what they are used for because they are completely useless. I'm not exaggerating when I say the bristles are glued together. I couldn't separate them and tried to pierce them with a needle but couldn't. My guess is that these brushes could be used…
