Okay, so it says it lights up what. But I didn't actually buy it because it glowed, I liked its color and I especially liked how it felt when holding the controller. It's pretty easy to put on, I love that they have an open area for the d-pad, I wish they had done the same with the buttons on the right side, but that's a bit of an issue after about half an hour of play . I didn't notice it once it was on. Now I know that the glow works just like the old toy: you have to be in the light, shine a strong, direct light at it for a while for it to absorb, and then when it gets dark it starts glowing. nice green color, the clips on the shoulder buttons seem to glow the brightest while the thumb covers are a bit darker, the cover on the controller itself is significantly darker when I tested it and held it in a fairly bright light for about 20 seconds, of course I haven't tested this in total darkness, but there won't really be times when I'm sitting and playing in total darkness, it just won't happen. a different color for a different controller, i don't care about the glow, it feels good in my hands, that's all i really care about. Functionality I'd give it a 9/10, it's not perfect, it actually makes it a bit difficult to press the launch and select buttons on the PS4 controller, now has options and parts but at the same time clipping those areas would do it significantly make less structural as it conforms to the controller and holds tight and also does not break. The novelty of the glow, I would rate it a 4 or 5 out of 10, it's there but nothing special.
