Review on πŸ”§ Enhance Performance and Protect Your Engine with AirDog 6.6L Duramax Diesel 100 GPH Lift Pump Filter (2001-2010) A4SPBC085 by John Hall

Watch the pressure of the fuel pumping out

Fit a second Airdog 100 to my Duramax LBZ. I'm not doing anything crazy with the setup, but I pull a 50ft wedge and know that a lift pump is a must, not to mention better filtration. The first one I put on one of my LBZs worked without any problems. This second one, however, started pumping too much fuel as soon as I put it on, blowing unburned smoke out of the tailpipe. I called Airdog tech support and they told me to remove the fitting on the pump for the return line that goes back to the fuel filler neck, remove the spring and cut a circle off the spring and then reinstall it. Commercial break Seriously? Well that's apparently all I can do because this block (unlike the newer ones) is unregulated. Anyway, I like the Airdog. Customer service is great, but can't they have different gauge springs like they did when we remanufactured carburetors?
