They are just as wide, if not slightly wider than a regular drinking straw. However, they are a bit longer and fit well in my insulated mug. I love silicone straws. Pretty flexible. Just the right length for me to take a sip or drink without tipping the cup. They're a bit thicker than my old silicone straws, which is fine. They seem to last and last a long time. I like that they are flexible and have no drinking temperature. You can really bite those straws. This will most likely ruin them, but at least they're soft enough not to chatter against your teeth. The bottom is bevelled, but if that doesn't bother you, you can always cut it off. They come in a small bag. with cleaning brush.
