We purchased this ceiling medallion and spray painted it with Antique Rustoleum Copper and Hammered Copper to make it stand out. It has turned out just like a real cast bronze medallion. Installation was easy, although we had to modify the center hole to fit the ceiling fan horn with a hole saw. We glued (liquid nails) and nailed (2 inch nails with an electric nail gun) the medallion to the ceiling before installing the ceiling fan. One Important Tip: Make sure you install any remote control receiver into the fan ball mount before mounting the medallion, otherwise it will not fit.
