Potential spring clip groove problems

Overall a good replacement but not perfect. The outside doesn't exactly cover the old area. (see photo) And I had a problem with the area around the key switch. It comes with a spring clip to hold the glass in place but the grooves were not cut properly so the spring clip does not slide far enough into the groove for it to work and hold the glass in place. (see photos) I had to use a small drill to drill out some of the plastic to allow the spring clip to fit properly for installation. Otherwise I would recommend this product.
