We recently replaced our old Comcast cable boxes with X1 cable boxes but have had issues with TVs not working, constant disconnects etc. After a few days of speaking to Comcast support and going into their shop, I thought: I would try to solve the problem myself. They never told us the amp could be the problem but nothing else worked so I decided to replace our old amp with this one. It was an easy install, the product itself seems very strong and durable. Within seconds of installation, all of our new X1 hardware was up and running with no issues. I wish I had done that from the start if I knew it was a problem. It was such a headache trying to speak to Comcast Support who had no idea how to solve our problem and didn't want to send a specialist to help. I am VERY SATISFIED with this product as it solved all the problems we were having with our cable TV. Now we can watch HD TV without worrying about losing connection. Internet and telephone work just as well as before. If you have trouble connecting to your TV and you have an old amplifier, this will most likely solve your problem.
