Review on Caulking Finisher Applicator Finishing Stainless by Adam Ross

Really really bad design

I got these because I needed to touch up the baseboard a bit having recently installed new baseboards. I thought they could be really helpful in getting a nice and consistent bead. I need a little boar for my work and here comes the problem. And it soon turned out that many of the dimensions contained in this stainless garbage bag were useless. Let me describe the problem. All of these tips are cut from straight stainless steel tubes of different diameters. One end is angled and slightly crimped to theoretically make the dispensing tip a bit wider and flatter. That's fine, but if you want to use a 5mm or 6mm end, for example, the stainless steel tip only has a 5mm or 6mm hole to attach to the end of the seal tube. That means you can't attach it to the end of the hunting tube. Which makes them useless. If you cut off the tip of the sealing hose, you have overcome this dimension. Even if you manage to somehow break it towards the end of the hose and tape it in place, it will never be strong enough to apply pressure while connecting. You can benefit from tips in the 10-14mm range, but it's just silly that there's no bell at the end that attaches to the pipe. The photo seems to have light, but it doesn't exist at all.
