We have many secret documents and CDs that need to be destroyed. Well it did the job and was so easy to use that my niece was looking for more crap to destroy around the house. She was able to take out a 30 gallon bag full of documents, CDs and plastic cards in about 3 hours. It is very quiet for its function. The CDs actually turn into these really cool looking mosaic tiles and I had to resist the urge to do anything with them because they were so cool. The CD tray needs to be monitored to make sure you don't overfill it. She made that mistake and it was hard to try to take it off but we got it and didn't break it like I thought, but there is a separate collection bin that separates CDs/DVDs from paper waste. if it matters to you It's actually very easy to use. We only stole it once because there was somehow a document with a metal tag for my dogs rabies vaccine attached to it and she didn't see it and it got stuck there. It took a few minutes but I got it out without damaging the car so it's very durable. Of course I had to be patient. We are very happy and there is absolutely no chance of getting Humpty Dumpty back together. If you need to shred documents, photos, CDs, DVDs, credit cards, etc. then this is the machine for you.
