Worth a try, good start for HUMA

This is a great moisturizing option when combined with their gels. HUMA offers a good mix of electrolytes with natural ingredients (suitable for vegans), dextrose, dissolves instantly, is easy to digest and tastes great. I'm an ultra-distance runner and haven't been too happy with electrolyte-only drinking options so far. For example, GU Hydration, although at a lower cost per serving, contains cornstarch (and cane sugar), which are much tougher ingredients for your body/liver to process and digest than dextrose. Nuun tablets are comparable. They use dextrose, are vegan, and cost about the same price per serving, but they use a lot of bicarbonates (like sodium carbonate, potassium bicarbonate, etc.) to preserve your electrolytes, which causes fizz. It might be fine for short exertions, but my stomach doesn't take it for long walks. Also, the tablets take too long to dissolve so I don't get a stable level of electrolytes at first. I'd love to see other flavor options and possibly other mediums (perhaps an instant tablet so I can easily hide extra servings in my pack), but for now as long as I'm calorie consuming, that's my choice. care for.
