Review on JOYSTAR Kids Balance Bike - Lightweight Toddler Bike With Footrest And Handlebar Pads For Boys And Girls Aged 2-6 by Darin Brooks

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Grandson loves it for my opinion

My 4 year old Grandson loves the bike, it’s light weight and just like the 12 inch strider bike he had before , comparable , not quite the same in quality . We had to tighten the saddle attachment super tight or it would push down when my grandson sat in it. The same with the handle bars. My husband had to tighten them super tight so the handlebar wouldn’t move. The customer service is excellent. I had to return the first bike I ordered since the wheel would not fit in the metal slots. I had a bike shop widen the metal , which cost me $60 and when they put it together we realized the tires where warped and wobbled terribly. I sent the bike back and they sent me a new one free if charge because of my troubles. It arrived quickly , the new little bike works great, the tires are still a little wobbly but it is hardly noticeable and my grandson rides it just fine. The same size strider bike is much heavier , has pump up, rubber tires and is convertible to a peddle bike, the handle bars are too wide. It’s not as easy to ride as the joystar and it isn’t what we wanted. My grandson definitely prefers the joystar bike .

Pros
  • The bike is incredibly lightweight and easy for young children to control
Cons
  • The brakes may not be reliable
