Review on πŸš— Noico Black 80 Mil 36 Sq Ft Car Sound Deadening Mat: Butyl Automotive Deadener for Restoration & Noise Dampening Insulation by Arunprasath Elliott

Identical to "Dynamat " and other high end mufflers but cheaper

I consider myself a music lover. From the surround sound systems in my home theater to the acoustics in my cars, I've always kept my speakers and sound systems up to date. In 2018, after some bad experiences with a Range Rover, I bought a Toyota Tundra TRD Pro. While I appreciate my Tundra's reliability and longevity, the audio system was terrible. Last year I upgraded the audio system and subsequently wanted the sound to muffle the car from road noise and minor vibrational resonances. I bought 4 packs of Noico 80 Mil 36 sqm. Tundra, driver and passenger floor and the rear wall of the cab. This amount of cushioning material was enough to get my job done without having to micromanage its usage. I had a decent amount left and would recommend 2-3 packs instead of 4 to do the same job. I also bought a set of noise reduction rollers but quickly found that it was completely unnecessary for the installation. Once heated, the material adhered easily and quickly to anything I pressed it on. It has held up for over 5 months now and shows no signs of being dropped or worn. As you can see from my photos, I applied it liberally to the doors. I did the same with the driver and passenger floor. I usually do acoustic measurements before and after with a dB meter, but I was in a hurry to install a new audio system over the weekend. But I can say that now there is a noticeable difference in reducing road noise in the cabin. Doors now feel tight even when closed. I also placed quite a lot behind all 4 door speakers in the speaker slot. I am pleased with the quality of this product and the low cost and would definitely recommend it to anyone considering a similar project.
