The hermit crab seems to enjoy it.
Bought this to keep my hermit crab hydrated while on vacation. The water tank is the right size and the water basin has just enough rim to keep the coco coir in the tank out of the basin, but not so steep that the hermit crab can't get in. I put a natural sponge in a basin. My crab seems to really enjoy splashing around in the water.
