Review on 💡 Tripp Lite PS240810 8 Outlet Bench & Cabinet Power Strip, 24" Length, 10ft Cord, 5-15P Plug, Black/Silver by Jeff Richmond

Bought to fix a lack of outlets at my wife's sewing table. With a light, laptop, sewing machine, serger and more, her sewing room has become a jungle of extension cords and plugs. Works as advertised. The only problem was that it came without the wall clips mentioned in the instructions for use. I called Tripp Lite customer service and they sent me a new mounting kit. Arrived in about 10 days. Installation took about an hour. After finding 4 wall studs I used the rod itself as a ruler along with a level to draw a line on the wall and screwed the 4 mounting clips to the wall with the screws provided. There was still a small issue with the exact orientation of the terminals, which is critical to their function, until I used the connector as a ruler again. I pressed it against the wall again and loosened the two outer clamps, allowing it to fall off a bit, but more importantly line it up with the fork bar. I then re-tightened those clamps, pressed the power plug against it as a guide, and did the same trick with the other two clamps. With a little effort, the fork rod snaps securely into all 4 clamps and that's it. Huge improvement. We'll never fill all 20 outlets, but the availability of spares is reassuring.
