that came with the Le Creuset pan and I wanted a different one. I use it on my induction hob to avoid scratching the glass and I need more than one when using more than one burner. They can be used on the hob and countertop, are easy to clean and can be washed in the dishwasher. They're a bit thick, but that's what makes them so damn heat resistant and protects your counter and countertops. Can also be used as a mini drying mat. A bit pricey, but very versatile and worth the money. Better than buying something cheap that you won't end up using!
