This adapter does not work well with my MacBook Pro. Although the sound card works with below-average sound quality, USB hubs are not compatible with Apple products. Even the Apple phone charging cable doesn't work on the extra USB ports. Also, I've tried connecting a USB controller from a wireless keyboard/mouse and the power out doesn't power the keyboard. There is no separate volume control, which is not important to me. I will try to get my money back and buy an OEM item from Apple. I don't know how well this will work on PC.
