Terrible external sound cards

I was very pleased with this little hub, but it failed in many ways. It should just connect and work, but unfortunately it didn't. I have a new computer that has been completely upgraded and I had to spend 30 minutes of my time figuring out how to set up the hub to be recognized by my computer. At that time everything worked perfectly except for the headphones. When plugged in, it removes the sound from the computer, but plugging and unplugging the hub is a hassle because I have to move the…

Absolutely worth every penny!

UPDATE (6/16/17): It looks like the problem wasn't with the microphone/sound card connector. I used a professional mic with a 10ft cable with a TRS connector, as I was working to consolidate usable desk space I ordered a smaller mic that took up a small fraction of the space (eg .the size of a marble compared to the size of a ball). Orange). I connected and everything works. I even tested with my headset and it worked fine too. My friends disagree that it sounds cleaner than my old card. Proven

Pros
  • Quick replacement

  • Useless features

I have a USB only MIDI keyboard, no DIN 5 and I couldn't find an audio interface to go with it Use with iOS devices without a headphone jack. Also, my iPad's headphone jack broke, and the 'cure' is a new motherboard. Someone recommended this on the iPad Musician Facebook page. 17 dollars. Of course why not? The only audio/MIdi interface I found with MIDI/USB was $499 - hooray! Anyway, paired with MK0W2AM/A in my iPhone 7 is perfect. Near-zero latency right out of the box (zero latency isn't…

GREAT Computers & Accessories

Works and works well, USB ports worked fine. Great job if your computer doesn't have a microphone jack. (Just don't be fooled into thinking this is necessary for your microphone to function. If your headset has a single 3.5mm jack, just plug it directly into your computer's headset jack and microphone input becomes easy called your computer's default microphone, for me it was a Realtek High Definition Aduio Microphone Array) Cons: It's pretty cheap and made of flimsy plastic, but it works

Pros
  • Finally bought it

Plug and play, works perfectly

I have used the Griffin Imic as my Macintosh headset interface for many years. When I switched my headset to PC, I needed an interface. This one (Ugreen USB hub and audio interface) works without problems. I bought it because my computer's sound card stopped connecting properly and I couldn't use Skype. I've experimented with the USB connection and found that it works well. I use it with Beyerdynamic MMX300 Mk. II headphones. What I hear sounds good and my voice sounds good to those who are…

Not for Mac for external components

This adapter does not work well with my MacBook Pro. Although the sound card works with below-average sound quality, USB hubs are not compatible with Apple products. Even the Apple phone charging cable doesn't work on the extra USB ports. Also, I've tried connecting a USB controller from a wireless keyboard/mouse and the power out doesn't power the keyboard. There is no separate volume control, which is not important to me. I will try to get my money back and buy an OEM item from Apple. I don't

HUGE bang for the buck!

This article practically defines value for money. Connected to my ThinkPad, it gives me great sound *and* connectivity to my mouse, external hard drive, and phone. I haven't tried connecting a USB power adapter to it yet; I may do this at some point in the future if I need to run a CD drive, for example, but it certainly works fine with regular devices. A tiny white LED indicates that the device is working. All of this costs less than $20. The only thing I would change is to make the cable…

IOS MIDI KEYBOARD FOR AMP LIFESAVERS!

I saw a review here that said this product is a lifesaver for musicians who want to use their midi keyboard with their iOS devices but don't have a headphone jack! YOUNG OOOF! THIS GUY IS RIGHT!) I love my mini rig! Thanks to this great little adapter! Latency is almost ZERO! The delay is really not audible! I also played straight from my Roland KC 600 amp! I had to buy an additional adapter (FROM LIGHT CAMERA TO USB ADAPTER) which again cost about $12! This adapter even powers my midi…
