My Syrian hamster loves to flip her food bowls, because she climbs into them to eat out of them. I wish I would have gotten a smaller size so I could easily remove it from her cage without taking the top section out, But I think the size is to her liking. I can put it on the floor of her cage and put bedding around the edges so she can’t get under it, and she hasn’t flipped it once. And it does make the food I give her seem a lot more so she feels like she doesn’t need to horde it all in her wheel and leaves some in her bowl. And she can sit comfortably in it while she eats, it’s so cute to watch
