We had a predecessor DA1004. He died a year later, we got a free replacement! The replacement also died a year later and we decided to order a new version of DA1054. Upon arrival, the plug-and-play installation became a two-hour phone call with an increasingly frustrated tech support agent. Finally we got it working. Stops working after 3 days! We called tech support, who reluctantly promised to send us a new unit as soon as possible. A week later still no replacement. We called again and the previous technician didn't enter the order correctly so the unit hasn't even been shipped! They overnighted a new unit for us and it arrived today. It is easy to install via plug and play and works great! The problems installing the first one were definitely not our fault. I hope this device continues to work now. Otherwise I will never touch their equipment again. Conclusion: Customer service is generally good, but of course it depends on who you go to. No service on weekends! Blocks work great (except Lemon) but have a relatively short lifespan.
