Great product, not standard power cord

Would give 5 stars but Legrand sells this (and many other products) without a power supply. Any electronics over $50 should come with a power cord. If they fix this I'll be happy to change my rating to 5.

Firmware out of date, unable to update

I will leave a one star review until the issue preventing you from updating the firmware is resolved. The Legrand website shows a "v2.6" bin file that doesn't seem to do anything when uploaded to the router. The version number has never changed from 1.3463b150302. I'm not the only one with this problem, this was posted on other forums. The only reason I bothered to upgrade is because I just had some issues with my router, which was limiting my internet to 10Mbps. After resetting it, it randomly

mixed feelings about network products

We had a predecessor DA1004. He died a year later, we got a free replacement! The replacement also died a year later and we decided to order a new version of DA1054. Upon arrival, the plug-and-play installation became a two-hour phone call with an increasingly frustrated tech support agent. Finally we got it working. Stops working after 3 days! We called tech support, who reluctantly promised to send us a new unit as soon as possible. A week later still no replacement. We called again and the…

Incredibly, installing CenturyLink FTTH proved to be a daunting task.

Excellent. Installing CenturyLink FTTH proved to be a daunting task - both PPPoE and VLANs must be configured. In case anyone else has the same problem as me, you need to configure VLAN tag for WAN port, set 201 as VID and also set all LAN ports to VID 201, but not "Tag" option for LAN Select Ports , WAN port only. Once configured, it works as it should - fast, easy, no problem.

Pros
  • Easy installation
Cons
  • There are other interesting options.

This is a reliable router/switch that I installed for about 3 months as part of a move to a new house. It's a full-featured device with all the features (and more) that the average household or small business needs. The documentation is very good. If you're reading this, you probably have an On-Q/Legrand box or something similar in your house. This router is intended for installation in structured enclosures. Because it is specifically designed for this use and is relatively expensive, it is…

OnQ/Legrand DA1054 4-Port Gigabit Router/Switch

Two stars deducted because of overprice and lack of power supply. In terms of service and support, I wouldn't expect much from this behavior. Also, it works great in my OnQ cabinet and has many additional features.

Pros
  • Fingers crossed
Cons
  • Lots of things

Very useful router/switch with some firewall options

I actually use these - VLAN capabilities can be configured on switch ports; IGMP proxy; login to DDNS account; many firewall options to restrict/direct outgoing or incoming traffic; service quality rules; characteristics of DoS attacks; many more options for routing and switching. The web interface is easy to use. The power cord is a mandatory optional purchase and has been designed to fit the On-Q back box. I used to have (now obsolete) 364772-02-V1. I liked the utility of filtering clients by
