I love this thing. I bought it for a MacBook Pro and it saved me from worrying about the port breaking. I play video games on my Mac in bed, and with a regular cable, I was constantly concerned that it might come loose and ruin the Mac and/or cable. I ordered a rectangular adapter so I don't have to worry. I only have three complaints. the bed can sometimes tear the top of everything by a thread. The slightest bit prevents the laptop from charging and I have to plug it back in. It's a bit preposterous how tight the tolerance is for turning it off. Second, the light is SUPER bright compared to a traditional MagSafe adapter. If they would cover the end of the magnet tip and just leave a small hole for light, that would be better. Third, I would like the magnet to be a bit stronger. It's weaker than a traditional MagSafe adapter, so it can be removed with a gentle pull. I think that's the point of why it's magnetic, but it's weaker than I'd like. Overall it does exactly what it advertises and I would recommend it to anyone looking for something that acts like a MagSafe for a USB-C port.
