Perfect fit, right part for Subaru Legacy Outback 2003 2.5L (non-turbo) base car.

Perfect fit, right part for 2003 Subaru Legacy Outback 2.5L (non-turbo) base car. My son's car had the check engine light come on; he read it in Autozone. Indicates a defective O2 sensor. Did a little research and found that this model uses an air/fuel ratio sensor (which provides feedback to the ECU) before the CAT and then an O2 sensor (which works/fails for CAT). Contacted a local Subaru parts man and they wanted $150 for this part (DENSO brand btw). Correct part, correct harness connector. Do yourself a favor and buy an O2 sensor cap and O2 port adapter; You'll save less than a hundred if you buy this part from a dealer. Both replaced; TARGET is gone. The female connector was correct/OEM - no splicing.

Pros
  • Quality construction
Cons
  • Running speed
