Ideal for 2000 Subaru Outback sedans.

They worked very well in my 2000 Subaru Outback Sedan with automatic transmission. Easy installation too. As long as you have the O2sensor connector.

  • Certified

Worked great on my 01 Subaru Legacy

Worked great on my 01 Subaru Legacy! That rear O2 sensor got my air/fuel ratio perfect again and got rid of the annoying check engine light.

  • cool item
Cons
  • don't remember

looks, fits and works like the original

great! I used this to replace a brand new Bosch sensor after seeing several posts on the Subaru forum that only the Denso sensor works. The Bosch sensor did not prevent the code from returning, this has been on for several weeks and the code has not returned

Pros
  • Best
Cons
  • Requires outlet

Good part great price fits a 2001 Outback 2.5L

bought this to get rid of engine check code P0136 on a 2001 Outback with 160k miles rear sensor. The 02 it replaced was a Bosch sensor that looked like something was frayed above the sensor wires. took the old one out. I put a new one in, cleared the engine codes and everything worked.

Pros
  • High marks for support and durability from testers
Cons
  • Almost OK

[UPDATE] It is needed to replace the new BOSCH we replaced.

UPDATE. As of July 2016 we were still receiving the o2 code and the machine was running worse. Went to the local Napa and bought one off the shelf (VERY EXPENSIVE) but it had the correct clip and luckily the code never came back. I do not recommend this product. It is needed to replace the new BOSCH that we replaced. However, it still needs to be fixed that when replacing the O2 sensor the check engine light is throwing out the same code. The plug will NOT fit our 2003 Subaru Legacy L Wagon for

Pros
  • Outstanding overall performance
Cons
  • Negative result available

Works as advertised

I saved a lot of money by buying the sensors from Amazon and installing them myself rather than going to any store. There is also a feature that comes with buying car parts to make sure the part fits your car, use it! I used this part on my 2002 Subaru Legacy GT station wagon with 130,000 miles. The swap took a little longer than I expected because I tried swapping it out when the system was still hot, but once installed it worked great. If your vehicle is giving out a CAT code, try replacing…

Pros
  • Nice packaging
Cons
  • Good mostly but...

Perfect fit, right part for 2003 Subaru Legacy Outback 2.5L (non-turbo) base car. My son's car had the check engine light come on; he read it in Autozone. Indicates a defective O2 sensor. Did a little research and found that this model uses an air/fuel ratio sensor (which provides feedback to the ECU) before the CAT and then an O2 sensor (which works/fails for CAT). Contacted a local Subaru parts man and they wanted $150 for this part (DENSO brand btw). Correct part, correct harness connector…

Pros
  • Quality construction
Cons
  • Running speed
