
I used this to pull the original spindle bearings out of a 1940's Buffalo Forge drill press. Their inner diameter is 17mm and I had to file the legs a bit. A lot of meat is left over. After soaking in penetrating oil, the bearing came out after a few moderate pulls with an OTC slide hammer. Don't panic when you see the withdrawal sleeve. It accepts 5/8" and 3/4" puller threads. .
