Stick to OEM engine parts

which I purchased and installed in February 2019. It's November now, about 30,000 miles, and it's squeaking a lot on morning starts. A few months ago I noticed a slight creak, but it quickly went away. In fact, it will go away so quickly that by the time I jump out of the car to put my ear to the engine, the creaking will be gone. In other words, it started deteriorating just a few months after installation. A few bucks more, just stay motorcraft. Then you have something that will last a long time. Don't get me wrong, some Dorman products are good. But that's one of the exceptions.

Pros
  • , control parts
Cons
  • , functionality
