Polar M200 - GPS Running Devices

So far I like this fitness watch. They accurately determine the distance when walking. This is the main reason I bought. I am retired and I like to choose different routes for my daily walks. My last watch didn't calculate the distance correctly. Heart rate seems accurate to me too. I love the Polar Flow app and the ability to see all my hike stats and location on the map. It's easy to use, but I'm still figuring out all of its features. was for running. I can't walk anymore, but walking is exactly what I wanted. Still waiting to be used for bathing, ext. but so far i like it. Update: February 23, 2019 Now after 7 months of daily use of this watch I have something else to say: Pros Very easy to use One button auto sync when back in range of your phone Good for fitness Accurate heart rate in the watch, no need for separate devices. Accurate tempo count without special calibration. I tested the traditional step counting method and timers and found this watch to work correctly. I carry weights during my workouts and love that this watch doesn't rely on arm movement to get the pace right. It uses GPS distance/time, not number of steps. Accurate GPS positioning while walking or running, and yes I'm running again. :) Such a wide range of sports features is amazing. Great web software, you can view your progress on any device with internet. Cons: Can't sleep with this watch on. The elastic sticks to the duvet when you move it and it's just uncomfortable, which is why the sleep tracking showed I only slept for 2 or 3 hours. Because the watch didn't allow me to move at night without effort. GPS signal. I can always get the GPS to connect to the satellite in the morning, but it takes about a minute. During the day, the watch rarely connects within 15 minutes of waiting. I'll start exercising and stop after about 1/4 and try again. Sometimes it just doesn't connect. It's not a serious problem for me as I usually train early in the morning. When the GPS loses its signal in the water, you move around the whole lake or pool. For me, swimming isn't really about distance, it's about heart rate.
