My 8 year old LOVES his new scooter. He's tall for his age and there's another unused notch that allows us to increase the height of the handle as he grows. The graffiti style pattern is pretty cool and the glowing wheels are an instant hit! Lightweight and also has a broken heel. I would rate it 5 stars. He had the ability to fold it. However, this does not change the rules of the game. Make no mistake, this article is a winner! EDIT 3/6: Well we've had the scooter for 1.5 months now and it's perfect so far. Looks cool and my kid loves it. However, a few days ago, when my son was riding it home from school, I heard a click and then he fell off the scooter. The scooter cracked under the footboard. I picked it up and it looked fine, but when you step on it, as soon as my son puts his foot on it, the footrest curves down and touches the ground. I have emailed the seller saying we are only 2 weeks from the return date but have not received a response. Unfortunately I can no longer recommend this product. So I will change my 4 star rating to 1 star. Edit 5/7: So when I emailed the company in March, they offered to mail me the part needed for the repair. I received an email notification that my order will be shipped in "a few weeks". I tried to contact the company but got no response. It's unfortunate.
