I don't like lead any less as it doesn't absorb well due to the lack of tinning. It also needs to be run at a higher temperature, around 750 for a good melting point, and really thin tips don't like heat or lack of tin. If you are making a larger surface area component and need to throw a large blob of solder at it, this works well. A blunt tip works better with less lead. The most important thing about this solder is that it is lead free and when I hire people to work for me I have to think about what I prefer and get the best for everyone. This is a well known solder brand and a great product.
