Works great with a 20 year old 20 " cinema screen

Samsung's 22" HDMI monitor on my wife's Mac Mini has stopped working. Luckily, I still had my mid-'90s 20-inch Apple Cinema Screen tucked away in my workshop along with the same Mac G5. At that time it was the strongest combination :-). I just couldn't bring myself to get rid of them since I paid about $3,000 for those two a long time ago (ugh!) so they've been gathering dust for 15 years. So if the Samsung monitor died instead of jumping on Revain and one to buy a new monitor, I deactivated the cinema screen. Assuming it connects directly. Bad luck. Mac Mini has only one HDMI connector and one Mini DisplayPort, and the Cinema Screen has only one DVI connector. It took me five minutes to find this adapter at Revain and within 24 hours I had it on my doorstep. Some of the negative reviews on here got me thinking, but hey, it's under $10 and it's Prime so free return shipping if that doesn't work. Luckily it works like a champ, the color and screen resolution are as good as they were 25 years ago so I'm happy in every way. Highly recommended for others who need to upgrade from DVI to Mini DisplayPort. It works like a champ, the color and screen resolution are as good as they were 25 years ago so I'm happy in every way.
