Anchor cables are my favorite full spec cables and while I understand why they don't have reversible connectors, it has always bothered me that they don't offer a lifetime warranty on such durable cables. My previous Lightning cable ended up with a hole right in the middle, but it's been so long that I can't find any purchase documentation to even attempt a warranty replacement. The serial number was off the cable and I couldn't find the right box in my stack of Anker boxes. However, it was my favorite cable, and when I saw that they released an even more powerful version, everything became clear to me. Selection. It's slightly heavier or thicker but feels stiffer. Although maybe that's because I've obviously worn out my old cable enough to see the wires inside. I'm considering getting another one, although lately I've become more interested in reversible cables and even micro USB cables with Lightning adapters. When I see Anker doing something like that, I jump on him immediately.
