I bought my first set of Bed Bath and Beyond and it lasted 7 or 8 years. First I cleaned with bleach but it had a bad effect on the material and eventually changed the colour. The best way to clean them is with a pressure washer and they are great. But over time, they discolour and become yellowish. So I ordered 2 new ones for the shower. The problem from the start, it doesn't stick to the floor either, you stand on the floor in the shower, you don't feel much of the padding, like with my originals. You can almost see through them, they are so thin. They are also slightly larger, maybe about 1/2 inch wide, so I usually have 2 in the shower to cover the whole floor, now they overlap. The picture of the old one shows how well thought out the original was after years of use. For me it will be returned and I will live with my old colorless until I find more open minded people.
